Watermelons!

My friend Jen sent me a Watermelon Award. I feel very humbled by this.

I accept and reciprocate by sharing six things that make me happy:

1. My husband: He means more to me than he knows. He's supported me when I said that I wanted a home-birth. He's supported me when I said that I wanted to be a SAHM. He's supported me when I said vaccinations aren't a good idea for our child. He's supported me when I said I wanted to home-school. He's supported me when the economy plummeted and I asked for the $250 for the lifetime membership for the Earthschooling/Waldorf program. He's loved and supported me every step of the way on our journey. I love him so much.

2. Tampa: She's an inspiration. She loves life. She's easygoing. She loves to learn new things. She's passionate. She loves nature. She loves exploring. She loves.

3. Homeschooling: It makes sense to me. Why waste Tampa's mind and potential? I am using Classical Education complemented with the beauty and wonder of Waldorf. What could be better?

4. Nature: We love nature. We love to camp and experience the beauty of the natural world.

5. The Ocean: I cannot live somewhere where there's no ocean. I would feel claustrophobic, smothered, far from comfortable. I may not go to the beach everyday, but knowing that it's just a hop, skip and a jump away is comforting.

6. Natural Fibers: I have to admit, even though my Mom taught me how to knit and crochet, I didn't really get serious about natural fibers until I researched Waldorf. I love wool.

Now, I would love to nominate these wonderful Mommies and their blogs.

Nicki I enjoy reading her blog. It's nice getting a look at life in the UK.

Marnie I just started reading her blog and I think it's beautiful. I was so enamored with her Waldorf dolls that I ordered some skin-tone cloth from dancingraindolls.com and decided to try again.

Jesse I love the visuals in her blog. She has a way with words and pictures.

Becca I love the warmth of her blogs and I love her artwork.

Jenell I enjoy the contemplative vibe of her blog. I also love that she and her hubby also enjoy brewing beer! Cheers!

Kelly I enjoy the simpleness of this blog. The pictures feel ethereal like some sort of filter is used?

This was actually very difficult because I had to go through all the blogs in my favorites and pick out and choose the right ones for the right feelings. I know these women have absolutely NO idea who I am, but I really enjoy their blogs. Anyway, Jen, I am honored and again, thank you.
